Dear Sonja, I read your newsletters and bolgs all the time. That’s why I’m writing to you. I read your book and just love it. I got the digital one. I loved your Near Death Experience. It must have been amazing! With everything going on I’m concerned about my health. What can I do to stay more healthy? I think I eat right . But so many people are sick. I’m afraid I’ll catch something and take it home to my family. I feel parallelized to do anything. I have 4 kids and a husband. I work in an environment with lots of other people. I can’t afford to get sick and give something to my family. I am sick of masks, they don’t work anyway. With the price of gas now, I really can’t just go to the Dr. any time or to the store or anything. I can’t afford to be running to the Dr. every min. or not able to take care of my family. Karen B. Hi Karen, I’m so sorry that you are feeling so over whelmed. I want to share a secret with you. It’s a true action that many people think is silly and a bit woo-woo! But good health starts in your head. How you think and what you believe. If you believe in a “Higher Power,” focus on that which you believe in and ask for support. You have many unseen around you that support your wishes.

Start with quite time for your self. Even if you have to lock yourself in the bathroom for 15 min! Start breathing slow full breaths in, for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4 and exhale for a count of 4. Repeat 3-4 times or until you feel yourself really relax. Then do some self talk. Talk to your body and tell it you love it and you appreciate the fact the everything works together to help you stay healthy. Do this often as you are learning to do this. Every time you have a moment to be thankful say it out loud to your body. “Thank you for the ability to peal potatoes, thank you for helping me sleep so well last nigh.” You get the idea, and so will your body. You will know that your your body “hears” you by how it responds. Our body works together with our mind in ways we can not yet imagine. As you talk to your inner-self, feel the emotion of it. Truly feel the LOVE when you think of all the ways your body supports YOU! It’s our emotions that help bring thoughts and words into reality. Then hold that peaceful feeling, and go about your business. It’s the feeling of love that supports you and makes changes in your inner self. Do this every time you start to feel over whelmed. I would say at least once a day until you can feel the internal change working in your mind and body. Your fear will pass and make way for positive thinking and actions. Remember you can not control anything outside of your self. You can not control gas prices, or anything others do or say. You can only control your own actions, and reactions. You can only make choices for yourself. Right now, your health and happiness is your focus. As you bring more balance to all areas of your life, you will see a different perspective that will enhance your well being, as well as that of your family. They take their cue from you. If Mom is “out to lunch”, so is the family..

Our immune system protects our body from bacteria, viruses, fungi and other harmful organisms. If our immune system is weakened we become fatigued and ill. Our immune system cells are produced by our thymus gland, right near the base of our throat. Our spleen, a fist sized organ located near our stomach, and behind our left ribs, helps us stay healthy. Its job is to create killer cells that fight the bad ones trying to invade us and make us sick.. then our killers run through our body like a heard of galloping horses through to our lymph nodes! Our lymph nodes store these new cells, created by our thymus, to help create a barrier against infection. Vitamins, and healthy foods, help strengthen our immune system by neutralizing these cell- damaging particles. Exercise helps maintain health by helping blood circulation and bringing more oxygen to each cell. You don’t need to go to a gym to exercise. Run around your house a few times . Play catch with your kids. Have a bubble blowing contest! Have fun doing what ever you do. There are many things we can can change by being conscious about what we eat and how we choose to think. Read labels for salt and fat content, etc. We can stay healthy even during this time of food prices being so high. If we don’t understand nutrition, we can do our own research. These days we can find information on line about everything. Once we find and digest the information we want, we can make changes that we feel are supportive for us and our family. Stay focused, stay calm. Every thing is changing, people are fearful of what might happen next and perplexed to see all the darkness being opened to the LIGHT. People are fearful and shocked of the darkness they are being shown, most never realized there was so much! The knowledge brings a sense of fearfulness to most of us. I would say, stay focused in what you believe in. Take normal precautions like you would normally do, like always your hands, etc. Things you know and teach your kids about health and mind and body care. . Remember we have only control over our own actions and thinking, and what we believe. Keep moving forward. Thank you for your question. I hope my response helps you to be more calm, and focused on the things you can control. Fear blocks the Light that is around you. Without fear you can find a step by step resolution to many issues. Fearlessly step forward. Mentally wrap your self in the Love and Light of Spirit, as you believe is right for you. Remember that you are more then a physical being here on earth. You are an energetic being made in the image of your Creator. You will shed your skin like a caterpillar,and fly into the “real” world of Love & Light, in due time.. And, you never know, perhaps come back when the time is right. You are LIGHT. You only have to learn how to turn it on.
Keep well, and keep fining the joy. It’s there. Just ask, then take the time to listen for the answer.
